Boma Bora: Accessing Shelter to Elderly Residents in Informal Settlements

Restored Dignity Foundation is proud to present the accomplishments of the Boma Bora project, which strives to improve the lives of elderly residents in Korogocho, Nairobi, since 2020.
Expertices
- **Homes for the Vulnerable:** We've successfully constructed 17 new homes specifically designed for vulnerable senior citizens in Korogocho. These safe and secure havens provide our elders with much-needed comfort and dignity.
- **Renovation Rejuvenation:** 100 existing houses in Korogocho have undergone renovations as part of the Boma Bora project. These improvements ensure better living conditions and address critical safety concerns for elderly residents.
- **Essential Support:** Recognizing the everyday needs of our beneficiaries, the Boma Bora project facilitates the quarterly distribution of essential clothing items to 30 senior citizens. Additionally, we provide daily cooked meals to ensure they receive proper nourishment.
